Please follow the steps mentioned below:
1. To update the purchase price of the product while creating a purchase invoice:
Step 1: Please go to Settings
Step 2: Preferences >> Document >> Purchases >> Update Product details >> Select Purchase price >> Save Changes.
With these settings, the purchase price will be updated in the product details while creating a purchase and stock in on confirmation.
2. To check profit and loss report as per the changing purchase price of the product:
Step 1: Please go to Reports
Step 2: Profit and Loss Report >> Sale P&L Report/Sale Item P&L Report >> Click on Settings button showing on the right side >> Select Purchase Price at Sale >> Check Profit and Loss.
