To check Sale profit and loss/Sale item profit and loss as per the changing purchase price of products, please follow the steps mentioned below:
- A) To update the purchase price of the product while creating a purchase invoice:
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Go to Preferences Under General Settings >> Document >> Purchases >> Update Product details >> Select Purchase price >> Save Changes.
With these settings, the purchase price will be updated in the product details while creating a purchase and stock in on confirmation.
- B) To check profit and loss report as per the changing purchase price of the product:
Step 1: Go to Reports.
Step 2: Go to Sale P&L Report/Sale Item P&L Report under Profit and Loss Reports and click on Settings select Purchase Price at Sale and check Profit and Loss.
