Taxes are calculated based on the customer’s state in Shopify. In the Swipe app, taxes are generally applied to all products. During the syncing process, taxes are added to the products using the company’s GSTIN number from the profile and matched with the relevant Shopify tax rate for that state. This ensures that taxes are correctly updated for all products.
If you want to apply different tax rates for specific products, you can create a collection in Shopify and assign the appropriate tax rates to the products in that collection. For those products, taxes will be directly fetched from Shopify when you receive an order.
