To show transactions sorted by created date / document date, please follow the below mentioned steps:
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Go to Preferences under General Settings >> Go to Document >> Go to All >> In the Sort Transactions By dropdown box, select “created date / document date” >> Save Changes
