We would suggest you to create a Journal entry and record the payment. To create a Journal entry, please go to Payments >> Journal >> Click on New Journal >> Enter the Journal Name (Capital investment) >> Select Date >> Save & Close.
To record the payment in, payment out and to view the ledger, click on the three dots record the payment and view the Journal ledger.
