How to add a custom field for the batches on the web?

Kindly go to the document settings>>Click add custom field>>Click on add new custom field>>Enter the field name>>Select document type>>Applicable for batch>>Save>>Close>>Update setting.

Once the custom field is added, while adding the batch you can see added custom field.
