Getting an incorrect calculation in the net amount on the invoice

Please note that the calculations in Swipe are computerized and use accurate values based on the amounts entered.

If you have entered only the price with tax, the unit price will be auto-calculated. If you notice any incorrect calculation because of this, you can either:

  1. Edit the invoice and manually enter the correct unit price, or
  2. Increase the number of decimals on the invoice to get the accurate value.

If you are getting a different result after multiplying the unit price with the quantity on the invoice, please ensure that you are using the full value of the unit price (including all decimal places) while calculating.

  • Example:

In the image shown above, the calculations are appearing differently.

Calculation: (when calculated with 2 decimals).
11000 × 1.69 = 18,590
18590 + 18%(3355.93) = 21936.2 (Total amount)

We have to increase the number of decimals on the invoice in order to get more accurate values.

You can check the steps from the below link to know how to increase the number of decimals for the unit price on the invoice.

Once the number of decimals are increased you will get a more accurate values.

Calculations: (When calculated with 6 decimals)

11000 x 1.694915 = 18644.07 (Net amount)
18644.07 + 18% (3355.93) = 22000 (Total amount)
