# Why is the invoice dates are getting shuffled or not coming according to the invoice number in the reports on web?

**We kindly request you to try changing the transaction sort order. Please follow the steps provided in the article below:**

**Step 1: Go to “Settings”**

**Step 2: Go to Preferences under General Settings \>\> Go to Document \>\> Go to All \>\> In the Sort Transactions By dropdown box, select “created date / document date” \>\> Save Changes**
