# What is the difference between duplication of invoice and only taking duplicate copies?

The difference between duplication of invoice and only taking duplicate copies is:

- Duplication of invoice creates a new invoice with the same details, which can be edited and saved as a separate document.
- Taking duplicate copies means printing or viewing an exact copy of the original invoice without creating a new document.
- Duplicate copies are often used for transporter or customer copies and can be printed via the view invoice option.
- To duplicate an invoice, go to Sales \> Invoices \> More \> Duplicate and save the new invoice.
- To print duplicate copies, go to Sales \> Invoice \> View \> Select “Duplicate for Transporter” or relevant copy.
