# How to transfer inventory from one company to another company?

**To transfer inventory from one company to another company please follow the below mentioned steps:**

**Step 1: Download Items from the “first company”.**

**Step 2: Change company in which you want to transfer.**

**Step 3: Download Bulk Upload Products Template.**  
**Note: If your product has variants then choose the Variant Option.**

> Please go to Products \>\> Click on actions \>\> Click on upload items \>\> Select product has variants \>\> Download the file and you can update the product data with variants and upload it.

**Step 4: Add item Details with Opening Quantity and Upload it.**  
**Note: If you are creating the purchase invoice then don’t add the Opening Qty.**
