# How to split payments got on invoice while creating the invoice on web?

You can use the split payment option to record payments received through different payment modes for a single invoice.

**Example:** If you created an invoice for ₹1000 and received ₹500 through UPI and ₹500 in cash, you can use the **split payment** option to record both payments at the same time while creating the invoice.

To split the payments while creating the invoice please click on **split payment** option given \>\> **Add the payments.**
