# How to show transactions sorted by created date / document date on web?

To show transactions sorted by created date / document date, please follow the below mentioned steps:

Step 1: Go to Settings

Step 2: Go to Preferences under General Settings \>\> Go to Document \>\> Go to All \>\> In the **Sort Transactions By** dropdown box, select “created date / document date” \>\> Save Changes
