# How to set Document Approval permission for the documents created by the users on Web?

To set a document approval permission for documents created by users, please follow the steps mentioned below:

**Step 1.** Click on **Invite Users** from the home page.

**Step 2.** Select **All Users / Roles** and click on **Approval Workflow**.

**Step 3.** Scroll down and select the **Approvers**  **Name** of the approver, the person responsible for approving the document, for the document you wish to set permissions for, and click **Inactive** to make it **Active**.

Now when your users create a document with permissions you have set, the approver will receive a notification.

**Please Note: This feature is only available in Web version.**
