# How to restrict the users to view documents created by other users?

**To restrict users to view documents created by other users, please follow the steps below.**

**Step 1 :** Go to **“Invite Users”**

**Step 2 :** Go to **All Users/Roles** \>\> Click on **Roles/Permissions** , then click on **Edit** for the role that you want to edit.

**Step 3:** Go to documents, scrolldown \>\> **Disable/turn off view all documents permission** \>\> Click on **Update role**
