# How to record cash as payment mode for an invoice - web?

To record cash as payment mode for an invoice, please follow the steps mentioned in the article below,

**Step 1:** Please click on **“₹”** Symbol (Record payment) for the invoice you would like to record the payment for.

**Step 2:** Enter the amount received, select **“Cash”** as payment mode and then click on **“Update.”**
