# How to filter out invoices based on prefix?

To filter out invoices based on prefix, please follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Please go to the sales/purchases/quotations dashboard.

Step 2: Click on **Filter** icon in **Bills #** column \>\> Under prefix, select the prefix you want to filter \>\> Click on **Ok** button.

Invoices created using the selected prefix will be filtered out.
