# How to edit item description after creating an invoice on web

To edit the item description, please refer the steps below

**Step 1:** Go to **Sales** \>\> **Invoices** \>\> **Select the invoice** \>\> Click on **three dots** and **edit**

**Step 2:** Click on **show description** \>\> **Make the necessary changes** \>\> Click on **save**
