# How to customize an existing role and assign to a user?

**To customize an existing role and assign to a user, please follow the below mentioned steps:**

**Step 1: Go to “Invite Users”.**

**Step 2: Click on “Roles and Permissions” \>\> Click on “+ Add New Role”.**

**Step 3: Click on “Start with an Existing role” option \>\> “select an existing role” \>\> “Customize the existing role” \>\> “add details of role in description” \>\> click on “continue”.**

**Step 4: Assign necessary “permissions” \>\> click on “Save role”.**

**Step 5: Go to “All Users” \>\> Click on “+ Add User”.**

**Step 6: Add “User Name” \>\> “Email” \>\> “Mobile number” \>\> “Activate user” \>\> “Add role” \>\> Click on “Add User”.**
