# How to create custom field for document with dropdown option?

To create custom field for document with dropdown option, please follow the steps mentioned below.

Step - 1 : Go to “Sales” \>\> click on “Document Settings”

Step - 2 : Click on add custom field option.

Step - 3 : Select Document, and click on “New Custom Field”

Step - 4 : Enter the field name, next click on type and select dropdown option.

Step - 5 : Enter the required input and click on save.
