# How to create Batches and expiry for a product?

To create batches for a product, please follow the below mentioned steps:

**Step 1:** Kindly go to the products \>\> Click on add new item

**Step 2:** Enter the product name and necessary details \>\> Enable the batches \>\> Click on add item.

**Step 3:** Once the Item is added \>\> Click on batches icon

**Step 4:** Click on Add New

**Step 5:** Enter the batch number and other details \>\> Click on save.
