# How to change the primary unit when the alternative unit is added?

Step 1: Please go to products and services \>\> Search the product \>\> Click on Edit.

Step 2: Click on Add Alternative Unit.

Step 3: Click on (-) \>\> Enter Ok.

Step 4: Click on Save.

Step 5: Disable the Alternative unit option \>\> Change the primary unit \>\> Click on update Item.
