# How to Add Products in Web?

To Add a new product, please follow below mentioned steps:

Step 1: Go to **Product and Services** and click on **+New item.**

Step 2: **To Enter the Product Details, please check below mentioned things:**

- **Item Name** (Mandatory) – Enter the Product Name.

- **Selling Price** – Enter the selling price of the product.

- **Tax %** (Mandatory) - If your company having GST Number then You will be able to add the Tax percentage to the Product.

- **Primary Unit** - Select the Primary Unit according to your products.

- **Custom Field** – If you want to add any additional details to your product, you can add custom field.

- **HSN Code** – Please Enter the GST Approved HSN code.

- **Purchase Price** – Please Enter the purchase price this will help you in tracking your exact margin for the Particular Product.

- **Barcode** – You can Add the Barcode details or you can click on auto generate barcode for your product. While creating invoice If you scan the Product it will automatically added to your products.

- **Category** – If you want to Add any category to your product, then you can add from there.

- 

- **More Details –**

- **Discount** – If you want to Add the Discount to your Product, you can Add (In Rupees or in Percentage). When you are creating an invoice for this product Default discount will be applied in the document/invoice.

- **CESS** – It is an additional levy imposed on certain goods and services by the govt.

- Please note that Cess can be applied in both **Rupees and Percentages.**

- **Low Stock Alert** – You will be notified once the stock reaches the minimum stock quantity.

- **Show in online store** – If you want to show your product in online store you can enable the toggle button.

- **Not for sale** – if you want to hide the item for sale, then you can enable the option

**After Entering all the details, click on Add item to add the products.**
