# How to add custom prefix for invoice on web?

**To add a custom prefix please follow the below steps.**

**Step 1:** Go to **Sales** \>\> Click on **Document Settings** \>\> then click on **Prefixes/Suffixes**

**Step 2:** Click on **“Add prefix”**

**Step 3:**  **Add the prefix** \>\> Click on **submit**
