# How to add barcode to the product on mobile?

To add barcode to a product on mobile, please follow the steps given below:

Step 1: **Go to Products & click on new product.**

**Step 2:** Scroll down a bit - optional fields \>\> Barcode \>\> Add barcode \>\> Add Product

Note: Set the barcode size between 4 and 10 digits

But barcode autogeneration is absent on mobile app, so we basically cannot autogenerate a searchable SKU/Barcode/Serial Number for a product. Any alternative for such requirement?
