# How are the charges calculated for GSTR-1 filing?

Once you have exhausted the free limit of 3 times for GSTR-1 filing, it will be chargeable.

Please note that the charges for **GSTR-1 filing start from a minimum of 250 credits**. However, the actual credits required may vary depending on the **number of documents pushed** during the GSTR-1 filing.

1. If more than 250 documents are pushed for the first time, 1 credit is deducted per document.

1. If only 10 documents are pushed for the first time, 250 credits are still deducted as the minimum charge

1. If 10 documents were already pushed in the first push and then the remaining 252 documents are pushed, only 12 additional credits are deducted, since 250 credits were already charged.

1. If the same document is pushed multiple times, or pushed again after resetting, it will not be charged again since credits are calculated based on unique documents.
