# Hello Swipe! I Need help with Error Message: Transporter document date cannot be earlier than the invoice date - /ewaybills/create

From the above message, I can understand that you have selected the invalid transporter doc date. ​

Please note that the transporter doc date cannot be earlier than the invoice date for creating the E-way bill. We request you to please change the transporter doc date and try creating E-way bill again.
